A Happy New Year

...that's what i wish you from the bottom of my heart! many people complained about the year 2013, that they can't wait until it's over and 2014 brings a fresh start and a new try.
well, my year was not too bad, hands down. it was not the best year ever, but by far not the worst. 
i do have some new year's resolutions, but really nothing outreagous, nothing i didn't plan before^^

find a job, do more sports, eat healthier again, finally get my drivers licence, buy less stuff and start investing in staple designer clothing, travel more, laugh more, be more positive, somehow get to new york. i think thats basically it. do you have any resolutions for 2014? anything you wanna change?

the outfit above is something i would love to wear for a glamourous new years eve party. i love the all black look, as you might know. the silver and orange details give it a modern and cool twist.

Dear Santa

so, i guess regardless of how old we are, we all do have this little list of the things we're hoping for for christmas. if it's just in our head, a written list, a bunch of pictures on the computer or a pinterest pinboard, we know what we want - somehow.
i tend to just write down what is realistic, things that really might be mine after christmas.
but for some years now every now and then i do a list with pictures of things i really want, wether they're luxury, budget, useful or just funny, i put everything there and try to not buy other stuff unless they're a good addition to that list.
so i thought, this year i'll do the same for christmas. i've put everything on that list, and just hope that santa is in a generous mood this year.

so dear santa, i hope you got my list in time. you'll find me the same place as every year! see you tuesday! (yes, we celebrate christmas on 24th here in germany)

so i guess i'm back! took a while to get me back on track, but here i am. 
time flies like an arrow, and so blogging had to step back for a while. even reading blogs, a thing i spent hours and  hours a day with, came short. 
and to be honest, i just needed a break. a break from thinking too much about blogging, too much about how i can present myself and what people would like to read. 
i had to take a step back and think about what i want to do. what i want to blog, not just what others seem to like. 

i love fashion, it's my biggest passion, it has always been. to make it my job was my biggest dream and i did it. 
this blogging thing is supposed to be fun, my way of letting go. 
when you work in fashion most of the time you have to think what your client or customer wants. it's not about your own way of style and aesthetic, you have to think outside the box. thats the job, and thats one of the things i love about it!

but this here is supposed to be MY little box. i don't wanna think about others people opinion, if they might like it or not. this is MY project. i'm the boss, i say if it's good or not!

sure, don't get me wrong, i love to hear what you people think! and constructive criticism is always welcomed, but please don't except me to be someone i'm not. if my blog, my style, my ideas are boring for you - no problem! i don't like everything either. 

but now, i'm happy that i'm back and i look forward to all the things that might happen - or not!^^
